Michael, you never cease to amaze me with your writing. I feel like anyone contemplating moving should be required to read this!!

As a fiercely proud Minneapolitan, I understand the angst you felt about leaving. But the process you went through tells me that you are running toward, not away. I have friends in the area where you moved and I've always thought it felt comfortable, even cozy, in a way that many suburban neighborhoods do not. Now that we're empty nesters, we've got some possibilities to consider. I can only hope we are as methodical in our decision making and that we end up as happy as you all seem to be. Here's to Eagan's newest cool neighbors!

Wow. Thanks for sharing the journey of movement, in all its connotations. Clearly, it sounds like a huge amount of thought (and work) went into the decision and the move, which makes great sense given all the variables, and there were so many of them. Yet, the choice of moving toward a brighter future seems to be already paying off. Major congratulations!

I know exactly which garage mural you're referencing. All the best to you and your family in your new home.
