I've seen four of the movies on your list and also thought that they were great. Maybe even worthy of a top ten list. But what about the Toy Story movies? They're all phenomenal. And what about Up, The Incredibles, Hugo, Shrek, Finding Nemo, Babe, Monsters Inc., The Wizard of Oz, E.T., etc.?
You're right. However, older movies could have been shown to kids within the last 10 years, and great movies generally stay great. The same applies to music.
Some of these I haven’t heard of! I had to edit this comment because my 12 year old daughter loves the original Matilda movie. Didn’t dig the musical so much, even though she is really into ‘The Greatest Showman’ and now the TV show Glee. Gonna give Nimona a try next weekend!

Those are all great, but my criteria was from the last 10 years. Most of those are older!

I mean I would argue that Greatest Showman is a kid’s movie even though it’s labeled as a loose biopic.
